Mobile salon vans for Brampton

ProVanWorks builds mobile salon vans at our shop in Langley, BC, and delivers them to lash artists, nail technicians and stylists in Brampton. Brampton is mostly suburban, with long streets of homes and driveways, which makes it a natural place for a van that pulls up at the client's door for a two-hour lash appointment.

How does Brampton's climate affect a lash or salon van?

Brampton sits inland in Peel Region, north of Mississauga and away from the lake, so winter nights can run a little colder and snowfalls a little heavier than on the shore. The pattern is the same as the rest of the GTA: snow, slush, refreeze and plenty of road salt on Highway 410, the 407 and the arterial roads.

A lash client lies still with eyes closed for an hour or two, so the room has to stay warm without a draft. ProVanWorks insulates a Brampton van in the walls, roof and floor, much thicker than the roughly 16 mm (5/8 inch) used in the Lower Mainland, and the insulation also cuts street noise. A small diesel, gas or electric heater under the seat moves heat through pipes in the floor and walls and through heat exchangers, a thermostat holds the setting, and the heater runs with the engine off.

Brampton summers are hot and humid. The front fan runs the air conditioning, which cools the room and also takes some moisture out of the air. Lash adhesive is sensitive to humidity, so ask your adhesive maker what range they recommend and tell us, so we place the bed where the airflow helps most.

Where do mobile lash and beauty businesses work in Brampton?

Most Brampton clients live in detached and semi-detached homes with a driveway. A van in the driveway gives the client a private room steps from the front door, without the trip to a salon.

Brampton also has a busy wedding season, with large receptions at banquet halls across Peel. A lash or nail van parked at the family home or at the venue can work through the bridal party in the hours before the event. Other regular clients include parents with young children, shift workers and seniors. Check with the City of Brampton about parking on the street and in driveways for a commercial vehicle, and about setting up at a venue, before you book regular stops.

What water and power setup suits a Brampton salon van?

A ProVanWorks lash van usually needs only a hand-wash sink with running hot water, fed from a small fresh water reservoir and draining to a grey water tank. Smaller tanks leave more room for client seating and storage. If you also offer nails or hair, add a pedicure basin or a shampoo bowl and the tanks grow to match. The lash van page shows a typical layout.

A lash lamp, a curing fan, lights and the climate system run from the auxiliary battery bank. It charges at Level 2 EV chargers through a J1772 inlet, or from shore power through the 50 A inlet (30 A also available) or the 20 A, 120 V inlet. On a wedding day at a hall with no outlet nearby, a generator (an add-on) keeps the van running; solar panels are also available.

What rules apply to a mobile salon in Brampton?

Ontario regulates "personal service settings". Brampton is served by Peel Public Health, so check with Peel Public Health about what applies to a mobile lash, nail or hair business before you book clients.

How does a salon van get from Langley to Brampton?

Brampton is more than 4,000 km from the ProVanWorks shop by road, a trip that crosses the Prairies and the north shore of Lake Superior. Delivery is quoted for each build: we drive the van to Brampton, ship it on a vehicle transport carrier, or you pick it up in Langley. See delivery across Canada for how it works.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a Brampton lash van built to my own layout?

Yes. ProVanWorks builds to your own specifications, or you can choose one of our already designed systems and adjust it. Tell us whether you add brows, nails or hair. See all our mobile salon vans.

Would a salon trailer work for Brampton weddings?

A mobile beauty salon trailer can suit a team that sets up at one venue for the whole day. If you move between several homes, a van is simpler to drive and park in a residential driveway.
