How ProVanWorks builds your van

ProVanWorks builds every grooming van, mobile business van and custom work trailer to order at our shop in Langley, BC. The build starts with an email about how you work, moves to a layout and a written quote, and ends with pickup at the shop or delivery anywhere in Canada or the United States. We use top-quality products and materials throughout.

What are the steps to building a van?

A ProVanWorks build follows five steps, from your first email to the day the van starts working.

  1. Tell us how you work

Email info@provanworks.com with where you work, what you do in the van, and how many clients you see in a day. For grooming vans, tell us the breeds you see most. Those answers shape the layout.

  2. Pick the van and the layout

Choose a Sprinter, Transit, ProMaster or your own van (diesel, gas or electric), or a trailer, then the heater, tank sizes, battery bank and add-ons such as solar, side covers (awnings) or a generator. We send a written quote with a staged payment schedule.

  3. We build it in Langley

Insulation, in-floor and in-wall heat, plumbing, electrical, lighting, cabinets and the fit-out all happen at our shop in Langley, BC, with top-quality products. Most builds take about 1 to 10 weeks, and we send progress photos on request.

  4. Wrap and finish

If you want your business name on the van, we design and install the wrap before it leaves the shop.

  5. Pickup or delivery

Collect the van at the Langley shop or have it shipped to you anywhere in Canada or the United States.

What should I tell you in my first email?

The more we know about your day, the better the first layout. For a grooming van, tell us:

For a beauty, medical or vet van, tell us what the work area needs and how many clients sit in the van at once. Send it all to info@provanworks.com.

How long does a build take?

A ProVanWorks build usually takes about 1 to 10 weeks. Build time depends on materials, the season, the layout, whether we're supplying the van or you are, and parts availability. We give you a date with the quote.

Can I bring my own van?

Yes. ProVanWorks builds on new or used vans and trailers that customers already own, as well as ones we supply. We also sometimes have ready-built vans for sale and new or used base vans in stock, which can shorten the wait. Tell us the make, model, year and roof height.

What goes into every build?

Every ProVanWorks grooming van gets the same core systems: an insulated cargo area, in-floor and in-wall heat fed by a small heater under the seat, heat exchangers, a thermostat, two fans with A/C on the front fan, a water reservoir and auxiliary battery bank in the rear utility area, a grey water tank, lights about every 30 cm, cabinets, a waterproof floor and a railing at the cargo door. The mobile grooming van page explains each one, and the cold-weather design page covers the heating in detail.

Can I see the van while it's being built?

Groomers and business owners within driving distance of Langley can book a time to see their van in the shop. Email info@provanworks.com to arrange a visit. If you're farther away, ask and we'll send progress photos as the build comes together.

How do I pay for a build?

ProVanWorks builds are paid in stages: a deposit to start, then payments at set points in the build. The exact schedule is in your quote. Financing is available through our partners; ask about it when you request a quote.
