# Spray-on truck bed liners in Langley, BC

ProVanWorks sprays bed liners onto pickup trucks at our shop in Langley, BC. A spray-on liner bonds to the truck bed, covers it from edge to edge and seals the metal against water and rust, which a drop-in plastic liner cannot do. Truck owners from Langley, Aldergrove, Surrey, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge and the rest of the Fraser Valley can email info@provanworks.com for a quote.

## What is a spray-on bed liner?

A spray-on bed liner is a protective coating sprayed onto a cleaned and prepared truck bed, where it bonds to the surface and cures into a hard, textured layer. Most spray-on liners are polyurethane or polyurea coatings. Because the liner is sprayed rather than dropped in, it follows every rib, corner and seam of the bed, including the inside of the tailgate. ProVanWorks uses top-quality products and materials on every liner.

## Is a spray-on liner better than a drop-in plastic liner?

For most trucks that work hard, a spray-on liner protects the bed better than a drop-in plastic liner. The differences come from how each one sits on the bed:

- **Fit.** A spray-on liner is bonded to the bed. A drop-in liner is a separate plastic shell that sits on top and can shift.
- **Water and rust.** A spray-on liner seals the metal. Water, mud and road salt can get under a drop-in liner and stay there against the paint.
- **Paint wear.** A drop-in liner can rub against the paint as the truck moves, which wears through to bare metal over time. A sprayed liner does not move.
- **Grip.** A spray-on liner has a textured surface, so cargo slides around less. A drop-in liner is smooth hard plastic.
- **Removal.** A drop-in liner lifts out. A spray-on liner is permanent, which suits a truck you plan to keep and work.

## How is a spray-on bed liner applied?

A spray-on bed liner goes on in a few steps at the ProVanWorks shop in Langley. The bed is cleaned, then the surface is scuffed so the coating can grip it. Everything that should stay uncoated, such as the bed rails, lights and the outside of the truck, is masked off. The liner is then sprayed onto the bed and left to cure before the truck goes back to work. Most trucks are at the shop for 1 to 2 days.

If the bed already has rust, scratches through to metal or an old liner in it, send photos with your quote request. That damage changes the preparation the bed needs.

## Why do Fraser Valley trucks need a bed liner?

Pickup trucks in Langley, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge and the rest of the Fraser Valley haul a lot: gravel and bark mulch, firewood, hay, tools and building materials. Every load scrapes the paint in the bed. Through the wet months, rain sits in the bed, and in winter the roads carry salt and slush that ends up there too. Once the paint is scratched, that water reaches bare metal and rust starts.

A spray-on bed liner from the ProVanWorks shop covers the bed before that damage starts, or seals it over once the bed has been repaired. The textured surface also keeps loads from sliding when you brake on a wet road. Drivers from across the [areas we serve](/service-areas/) bring their trucks to Langley for this work.

## How much does a spray-on bed liner cost?

ProVanWorks quotes each spray-on bed liner by email, because the price depends on the size of the bed and the condition it is in. Email info@provanworks.com with the year, make and model of your truck, the bed length and a few photos of the bed, and we reply with a price.

## Frequently asked questions
